COMMUNICATIVE MOVES IN THE DISCUSSION SECTIONS OF EFL INDONESIAN VOCATIONAL COLLEGE STUDENTS

Studies on the move analysis in various sections of research articles have developed rapidly. However, studies communicative moves discussion section particularly written by vocational college students are still limited. In fact, those categorized as novice writers inevitably need illustrations how to write proper related their findings. Therefore, this study was aimed at exploring and cycle series final project reports EFL one state polytechnics Indonesia. The method used is a discourse 15 sections. results showed that Move II, IV, I were frequently all students’ Pertaining series, fulfilled rhetorical functions introduction (1) evaluation (4+2 or 2+4) but for showing conclusion commonly not used. provide references real applications pertinent communication students.
